One of my absolute favourite place to photograph a Wedding is the Niagara area in Ontario! Niagara-on-the-Lake more specifically is such a quaint, pretty and unique spot for a Wedding, you can see why it’s such a busy area and sough-after tourist destination. As a photographer, something that is important to me is to have a picturesque are for family, bridal party and bride and groom photographs after the wedding ceremony. You can’t go wrong with any section of this gorgeous small town. Simply walking up and down the boutique and restaurant-lined streets offer so many stunning flowers, landscaping and beautiful lanes off the beaten path… all great spots for photographs! The lake is also steps away with a gazebo and beautiful walking paths
The wineries, hotels and B&B’s in the area are all top-notch, most offering couples getting married with one-stop-shopping services for a wedding. Flowers, catering and wine service, wedding coordinators, decorating, officiants etc…can be all part of your Wedding Package. I have photographed so many Weddings here over the years and have always experienced incredible service and attention to detail from any and all vendors in the area. It has a lovely intimate feel and offers guests from out of town a fantastic shopping, wine tasting and dining experience. For the fall harvest, head to the area near the end of September to see the vines full of lush grapes!
