Bronwyn and Paul || Beautiful Norfolk County Wedding

The initial reach out came just like any other.

“Hi.  I’d like to get more information about your Wedding services.  Our Wedding will be at Burning Kiln Winery in Norfolk County at the end of September.”

It sounded lovely…AND was around the area where I grew up.  At this point, I really wanted to offer more information and like I always do, offer an invitation to meet face-to-face.

I remember it vividly.  She apologetically explained that her hubby started a new job and wasn’t able to make our meeting.  We sat and chatted, talked about Wedding details, how they had met at a gym in Toronto and really hit it off.

Being from the area I was curious to know her connection and as she explained…it became clear.  Her new in-laws and my parents have known each other for years and what’s even more crazy is that her grandmother’s house is just down the road from the house where her fiance grew up but they didn’t meet until a couple of years ago and YES….at a gym in Toronto!

The universe sure works in mysterious ways… 😀

Needless to say, I was thrilled and honoured to be asked to photograph their Wedding.  We were definitely on the same page as far as style and feel of the photos.  We had an amazing shoot for their Engagement session at Long Point Beach with fur-baby Georgia.

The Wedding day finally came and it was so gorgeous!  Elegant and beautiful from Bronwyn’s incredible Wedding dress and gold Jimmy Choo’s to the amazing meal from Steel Grill Catering and of course Burning Kiln for a beautiful location and fantastic wine!   Here’s a peek of the day.
