Favourite Bridal Portrait of 2012 | Ancaster Mill Wedding

Amy & Brad were one of those couples I instantly bonded with.   They live in Vancouver so our first meeting was a Skype call between Amy and I, while she walked the dog. *lol    The conversation flowed easily, she had lots of great questions and we reviewed the Wedding plans and timeline with a fine toothed comb.  One thing kept coming up…  her fiance didn’t like  getting his photo taken and he even went as far as to suggest they actually “didn’t really NEED a professional wedding photographer”.    I cringe when I hear these things!   Slowly Amy dropped little hints about the possibility of his…. hmmm, uh……um    ‘l a c k  o f  c o o p e r a t i o n’   (…*nervous giggle)

Just what I wanted to hear.  I think I replied with the typical, “…and  I’m going to spend the entire day following him around taking his picture?” She assured me all would be fine.  He loved her and wanted to get married so he would do it!

Thankfully, he was absolutely wonderful!  Gracious, polite, engaged and very much wanting to have the best photo experience with his beautiful bride for the engagement session and the wedding photos.  🙂

This photo wins for Bridal portrait of my 2012 Weddings.  Amy looked absolutely stunning….  I could have photographed her forever!
